Volunteers

We here at Portarlington Community Centre are well aware of how busy our lives can be, it can be hard to find time to volunteer and we therefore greatly appreciate your considering a volunteer role with our non-profit organisation. Becoming a volunteer can hugely benefit you individually, your family and your community. The right match can help you to reduce stress, find friends, reach out to your local community, learn new skills and even advance your career. Giving to others can also help protect your mental & physical health.

In order that we may match you up to a relevant volunteer role within our organisation based on your experience to date and your interests, request that you please take time to read through populate our Volunteer Application Form and relevant Garda Vetting form. Under Portarlington Community Centre Vulnerable People & Child Protection Policy all staff, volunteers etc…. must be Garda Vetted prior to starting to work/volunteer at Portarlington Community Centre.

All relevant applications forms can be obtained by calling into our reception office during opening hours or by contacting us below to request these forms to be posted to your postal address.
